Your Sound Bath Practitioner: Natalie Brown

Natali's passion for music began long before she discovered the practice of sound healing: she was classically trained in violin from the age of four at the Preucil School of Music, where she discovered her connection to musical expression, and to a method to soothe and work through emotions.Â
When she discovered the benefits of sound for health and wellness, it was because of a personal need. She was seeking ways to relax and reduce the stress of being a high school teacher. This led her to meditation, tai chi, and then sound healing and other healing modalities.Â
She always understood that music can help us move through difficulties, to shift what we feel. Yet as she went through training courses for sound healing with The Sound Healing Academy, she was awed by her experiences and those of others. People were experiencing transformations and miracles! She then quickly realized that there’s no better way to incorporate everything she's done, with more of a purpose. Composer, educator, sound healer and multi-instrumentalist, Natalie Brown, has traveled the world performing, recording and teaching music. She is the founder and operator of Sounds Heal Studio, providing 1-2-1 and group sound healing sessions and workshops as well as practitioner training through the International Sound Healing Academy.Â
Natalie's podcast, Sounds Heal Podcast, explores using sound for health and wellness with interviews of top innovators & practitioners in the field. It has been recognized as the #1 music therapy/sound therapy podcast on the web.
