About Kay

Hi, I'm Kay Rose, sound therapist. I am in love with sound and sound healing!
In the words of Abba, I really was a dancer before I could walk and did begin to sing long before I could talk. I could always feel the power of sound. Years later, during my 'dark night of the soul', I re-connected deeply to the power of sound and emerged from it with a rekindled love of song and sound and a determination to share its restorative power with others.

I have subsequently trained with American author, musician and one of the fathers of modern day sound healing Jonathan Goldman, and have graduated from the UK based International Sound Healing Academy with a diploma in Integral Sound Healing, 'meeting and exceeding the rigorous criteria set for the assessment process', and qualifying me to work with the general public as a sound therapist.

I have set up my sound healing practitioner business, Grounded Sound, with the intention of sharing the power of sound and its healing vibrations with others. Whatever your circumstance, we can work together to restore your systems, body mind and spirit, back to balance and activate your body's own natural healing mechanisms for true wellness and vitality. I offer powerful 1 to 1 sessions both online via zoom to anywhere in the world, and in person from my comfortable home studio in Countesthorpe, South Leicestershire.

As well as one to one sessions, I also offer bespoke group sound baths for relaxation, allowing participants an opportunity to rest, recharge and re-energise. I feel so blessed to be able to share these sacred sounds with my fellow soul travellers, as we walk each other home.
