About Jan

Jan began her healing practice in 2007 as a Reiki Practitioner. Soon after she opened In Spirit Energy Healing Studio in her hometown of Hoxie, Kansas in a small bedroom in her home. This was only the beginning of her interest in energy healing. Seeing the benefits of energy healing, Jan followed her passion to learn more. This lead her to discover sound healing with crystal singing bowls and to her getting her diploma in Integral Sound Healing with Crystal Singing Bowls by the Sound Healing Academy. Now living just outside Studley, Kansas in rural Sheridan County, Jan has opened a new studio offering a wide range of healing energy modalities to her clients. Jan became a Reiki Master in in 2019 and uses Reiki in all her healing sessions. Jan also gives one-on-one sound healing sessions at her studio. Using her love of art, she has created her own art program, Peace of Art. This program uses art journaling, intuitive painting, meditation, sound and energy work to help clients heal past trauma, work out personal struggles and open more healing opportunities for her clients.

Once Jan received her diploma in Integral Sound Healing with Crystal Singing Bowl in 2022, she used her new modality to introduce sound healing to the Northwest Kansas area. Jan travels to small towns in the area giving monthly public sound baths, sometimes traveling 80 to 100 miles one way. Giving public sound baths opened the door to giving one-on-one personal sound sessions at her studio as people who attended her public baths became interested in learning more about sound healing.

Jan lives in the country with her husband and greatest supporter Phil, her sister Donna, three dogs and a multitude of cats. When she is not in her studio, giving sound baths or hosting retreats at their country home, Jan enjoys reading, gardening, creating art and spending time outside, grounding herself in nature.
