Sound Healing Practitioner - Eric Lindstrom - Asheville, North Carolina, USA
About Eric
I have been a student of sound for over twenty years both as a performer and a seeker of knowledge. I graduated from The University of Georgia with a degree in anthropology specializing in sound and healing. I have travelled the world experiencing different cultural ways of seeing. This has brought many beautiful sounds into my life and a deep respect for tradition.
Following this path brought me to the Sound Healing Academy where I earned my practitioner certification and gained a deep understanding of the healing power of sound. I bring various cultural techniques and practices such as pranayama, mantra chants, native prayer concepts, musicality and mysticism as well as contemporary methods using frequency and resonance to reduce stress and support the natural healing ability of the body. The power of sound as a healing modality continues to grow and prove itself as an effective path to health and harmony.
I work with crystal bowls, drums, Native American flutes, gongs, tuning forks, rattles, Himalayan singing bowls, idiophones, chordophones, RAV drum, handpan, voice and other ethnic sound instruments from around the world to encourage healing through vibration, sound and energy. I offer individual sessions and group sessions focusing on the awareness of the present, observation of conditions and characteristics, and communication to craft a healing environment through connection and intention.
