Learn How To Offer Group Sound Baths
On this 12 month course you'll learn how to give relaxing sound baths, gong baths, sound meditations, sound yoga, sound healing ceremonies and more!
You'll learn how to work both solo (on your own) and with others in small teams, using acoustic sounds and recorded music.
We cover how to work with healing sounds in 10 different types of group events:
- Public Sound Baths, Sound Journeys & Sound Meditations with Gongs, Singing Bowls, Drums, Voice and other easy-to-play instruments

This Group Sound Healing course is one of our most popular courses.
This course appeals to holistic health practitioners, yoga and meditation teachers, musicians and singers, psychotherapists and other health-care practitioners.
It is packed full of knowledge, skills and techniques to enable you to build an exciting and diverse portfolio of group sound healing sessions.
You’ll be able to successfully launch and develop an effective group sound healing service with multiple income streams.
The prerequisite for taking this Level 2 course is that you have completed one of our Certified Level 1 courses (either entirely on line or with a workshop). Alternatively, you can join this course if you have completed a similar level of prior training with another academy / college. You will need to send us a copy of your certificate.

Live group coaching
A 1 hour Group Coaching Calls at 7:00pm on Wednesday 22nd January 2025, BEFORE the in-person workshop

There will be four (4) additional Zoom calls AFTER the in-person workshop with dates and times to be arranged between the teacher and students.
Please note that both the Certified Workshop Course and the Workshop Only version are only available to people who have taken a Certified Level 1 Workshop or Online Course.

About Your Teacher: Annie Ridgway
Annie is a fully qualified Sound Healing Practitioner, a musician, and singer/songwriter who has led workshops on singing and sound for over 10 years both in Australia and overseas.
With a Diploma in Sound Therapy through the Sound Healing Academy in the UK, Annie uses her skills in music and sound healing for the health and well-being of others.
As an accomplished musician, she has conducted many singing and song writing workshops and performed at many Australian folk festivals including the National and the Blue Mountains Folk Festivals.
Annie has produced 4 CDs over the past decade including; 'Chakra Swoon' – which is a seven - track meditation on the Chakras, comprised of sounds such as Tibetan Singing Bowls and Voice for stress management and relaxation.
Annie runs a flourishing Sound Healing practice in the Byron Shire in Australia and is an Associate Teacher with The Sound Healing Academy, delivering both Level 1 and 2 Courses.
Since 2010, she has conducted many singing workshops and sound therapy sessions at the renowned health and wellness Spa, Kamalaya, in Koh Samui, Thailand.
In 2015 she also performed music concerts and conducted mantra workshops for the 10 year Anniversary of Kamalaya.

About Your Teacher: Anita Cassidy-Bowman
Since my youth, I have loved the heart-opening effects of listening to and making melodic sound. For 25 years, I have been a musician and singer/songwriter, especially enjoying Celtic styles and other World music. I have worked as a teacher in Rudolf Steiner early learning and as an English teacher and relief music teacher at public high schools, where the opportunity to bring the healing benefits of singing has been my primary joy and motivation.
Also, a life-time love of sharing heroic tales from world mythology, folklore and fantasy fiction with my children and students has naturally led me to combine this method of entertaining, inspiring and teaching with the rhythmic, entrancing sounds of healing instruments. I incorporate singing where I can in my personal sound bath and story-telling events as the voice carries the unique qualities of the soul, conveying and communicating the powerful energies of intention, compassion and unconditional love.
Our voices are immense healing instruments, so I encourage regular singing or toning, either alone or with others, and you don't need to be a good singer to do this at all! Whether singing or simply humming, the benefits are enormous: releasing endorphins, lowering blood pressure, reducing stress, clearing out the energetic cobwebs and resonating, invigorating the whole inner and outer being, as well as positively influencing our environment, near and far.
A meditation teacher and energy healer of the yogic tradition for 25 years, I have also immersed in the traditional vocal therapy and devotional music of India, gained from the teachings of Dr Arun Apte, integrating the knowledge I’ve gained into meditation and Nada (sound) Yoga classes. I have also facilitated many gatherings of kirtan and bhajans (traditional song style of call and response) during this time. I now include songs of this style in English and other languages.
A love of nature and this musical universe is today the prime inspiration for the music I create with my voice and sound healing instruments. I believe that my appreciation for, and ever-deepening connection with, the natural world has expanded my ability to energetically support others and myself, alongside the extra-ordinary therapeutic qualities of sound healing instruments and the uniquely personal voice.
